Job Summary: Provides for the safe, efficient, and orderly transportation of students.

 

Qualifications: CDL (B) license required with current School and Passenger Bus Endorsements and Air Brake Restriction removed from license. Must be able to qualify under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania School Bus Driver’s physical examination. Knowledge of street locations and developments in the Pennsbury District a plus.  Current CDL holders can start right away!

If you are an external candidate and you are offered a position with the Pennsbury School District, please be advised that the following current information will be required before you are able to begin working:

State Police Clearance (Act 34) - complete online and print your results immediately
Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151) - effective 12/31/14, submit electronically
FBI Fingerprints (Act 114) - register & pay online, then go to the fingerprint location of your choice to be printed
Copy of a High School Diploma or transcripts, or proof of College credits
School Health Record - includes physical & tb test from within a year
PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release- A separate form (Act 168) must be completed for:
     1. Current employer; and
     2. All former employers that were school entities; and
     3. All former employers where you were in a position that involved direct contact with children.
